The Legal Provisions Governing the Sole Proprietorship in Iraqi Law: A Comparative Study with UAE Law

The legal organization of a sole proprietorship company is important, given its great importance in commercial and economic work, considering that this type of company arose from urgent economic needs. Also, the owner of the project in this type of company achieves the best possible management, considering that he is the only one authorized to exercise all the powers assigned to him with complete freedom, and it will contribute to achieving economic development, considering that it does not require large capitals. On the other hand, this type of company is a general guarantee for creditors, because the responsibility of the owner of the project is an unlimited personal responsibility that extends to his private funds.
