• تقـوم اسـتراتيجية الطاقـة الروسـية علـى سياسـات عـدة فـي مناطـق انتـاج واسـتهالك الطاقـة فـي اوراسـيا, ففـي مناطـق االنتـاج تنظـر روسـيا الـى منطقـة اسـيا الوسـطى والقوقـاز انهـا احـدى دوائـر مجالهـا الحيـوي وتهـدف الـى سـيطرتها علـى انتـاج ونقـل الطاقـة مـن هـذه المنطقـة الـى االسـواق العالميـة, وتسـعى الـى منـع اي قـوى اخـرى تحـاول السـيطرة علـى هـذه المنطقـة, ومنطقـة الشـرق االوسـط)الخليج العربـي وشـرق المتوسـط( جـاء االهتمـام الروسـي بهـذه المنطقـة نتيجـة الموقـع الجيوسـتراتيجي وكونهـا مـن المناطـق المتقدمـة فـي انتـاج الطاقـة لذلـك تعمـل روسـيا علـى التنسـيق بينهـا وبيـن دول هـذه المنطقـة للحفـاظ علـى اسـعار النفـط والغـاز, امـا فـي مناطـق االسـتهالك فانهـا توجهـت الـى منطقـة جنـوب وجنـوب شـرق اسـيا لضمـان تصديـر منتجاتهـا مـن النفـط والغـاز الـى جانـب االسـواق االوروبيـة.
