Constitutional identity and the crisis of belonging and loyalty

Abstract

The research discusses the idea of «constitutional identity», within the framework of States with multiple demographics, and States belonging to supranational and national continental and regional unions, in an attempt to find a comprehensive constitutional identity, in the face of the intensity of international and non-international conflicts. And in an attempt to solve the problem of tensions, conflicts and contradictions of the identity crisis. Especially in Iraq, which consists of an irrational plurality of demographics, the sub-identities did not rise to a single constitutional national identity. The research revolves around the problem of the extent to which the «constitutional identity> can crystallize a «national constitutional identity» that crosses the sub-identities that had a negative impact on the unity of nations, peoples and nations? This is done by using the analytical method in addition to some other research methods, with the aim of reaching the results and recommendations in the light of the research problem
