Political representation of Iraqi women and its impact on enriching the Iraqi economy

Abstract

Women play a prominent and effective role in various fields of life, and with the progress of the era and the development of human thought, the status of women in society has become so high that they are now leading countries politically and even militarily. Despite the difficulty of the obstacles that women face in proving their identity, many women have proven their worth in taking over the reins of affairs. At the political and economic levels, the development of societies became measured on the basis of women’s participation in society, in addition to their enjoyment of their legitimate rights and taking the opportunities they deserve in work and education. In the Iraqi political system, the role of women was and still is essential and effective until it has become an integral part of the political system, as well as in In the battlefield of the economic vortex, many names have shined highly in business management, project establishment, and various economic fields. Iraqi women have contributed greatly to the Iraqi economy, and their effective role in enriching it cannot be denied or erased.
