Prof. Dr. Sarmad Abdulsattar Ameen
Prof. Dr. Sarmad A. Ameen Al-Obaidi is a Professor of Strategy and International Politics at the College of Law and Political Science, Al-Iraqia University, where he also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the college's academic journal. He obtained his Ph.D. in Political Philosophy (International Politics) from Al-Nahrain University in 2000. Throughout his career, he has held several academic and leadership positions, including Vice Dean of the College of Law and Political Science and Head of the Strategic Studies Department at the Center for International Studies, University of Baghdad. His research interests and publications focus on strategic thought, international conflict, and geopolitics, with numerous books and peer-reviewed papers published both nationally and internationally.
