Abstract

Southeast Asia is of geostrategic importance due to its geographical position, natural wealth and economic capabilities. It is also the fastest growing economy in the world, as well as it has become the most important economic bloc in the world, which has made it central to Chinese strategic attention, as it has become China realizes that these facts enhance the strategy of its peaceful rise if it is employed by it in a purposeful and multi-level manner through openness in its relations with these countries by promoting joint cooperation, common interests and a common destiny, leading to the establishment of strategic partnerships.
