Food constitutes the backbone of life and is considered one of the basic
elements to provide humans with energy, in order to continue life, and food provides
all the necessary elements for the body to carry out its vital functions, in addition to
LWVUROHLQWKHSUHYHQWLRQRIHSLGHPLFVDQGGLVHDVHV,WDIÁLFWVKXPDQVZLWKJUDYH
disease risks, as human life depends on food. If this food is damaged, spoiled,
or poisoned, humanity will end. The Lord of Glory has mentioned in the Holy
Qur’an the necessity of preserving human food, so God Almighty has permitted
PDQWRHDWZKDWLVJRRGDQGEHQHÀFLDODQGIRUELGGHQWRKLPZKDWLVKDUPIXODQG
harmful. Specialized agencies were established, such as the International Food and
Agriculture Organization (FAO), and many conferences and awareness-raising and
indicative symposia were held on this subject at the international level, the most
important of which was the Rome Declaration on World Food Security of 1996. At
the national level, it was held in Iraq in February of In 2022, the work of the thirtysixth session of the FAO Regional Conference for the Near East and North Africa,
